Answer the call! The call for entries for Dutch Design Week 2025 is officially open, inviting designers setting the course for the future. Designers can submit their projects until 9 June.

Call for entries DDW25

Dutch Design Week is coming! From 18-26 October, Eindhoven will once again be the stage to create change and opportunities through the power of design. Where designers actively contribute to making a difference—shaping the future, of design and by design.

Answer the call

Dutch Design Week (DDW) is a platform for designers worldwide. DDW aims to give design a stage, highlighting unique and groundbreaking work to national and international audiences.

In addition to designers, DDW welcomes applications from cultural institutions, venues, brands, organizations, and entrepreneurs—provided their projects are driven by design. DDW is convinced that design thrives on collaboration—with all playing a role in shaping the week into a showcase of the future of design and the design of the future.

Mission Days

As one of the world’s largest design events, DDW invites designers to contribute to Mission Days—a programme that fosters meaningful encounters, drives collaboration, and builds networks between designers and professionals. Throughout Mission Days, DDW sharpens its focus for professionals, bringing today’s relevant subjects to the forefront through the power of design.

Material Innovation

Dutch Design Week will continue to cover a wide range of topics, perspectives, and disciplines. This year, DDW especially encourages applications in textile innovation and regenerative building. These fields are woven into the fabric of design, offering critical building blocks for meaningful change. While still full of challenges, the rapid progress made in material innovation requires collaboration to unlock its full potential.

Accessible application process

Dutch Design Week is committed to making the application process as clear and comprehensible as possible. A playful yet informative series of tutorials featuring more-than-human designer Teun de Wasbeer (part of studio Bruno Baietto) guides participants through every step. Additionally, DDW will offer both online and in-person consultation sessions to support applicants throughout the process.
