We all know the everyday can become overwhelming. We are constantly under pressure to live a picture perfect life chasing likes and views. Sometimes we forget that life does not only happen in the digital world. That we experience the beautiful moments by standing still, looking around and simply being present.

Research shows there is a distinct connection between mental health and creative journaling. The notebook is a tool in which the writer, doodler or compulsive to-do lister can channel their idea's, thoughts and inspirations. It is a reference work, a diary and a way to relax.

With DAOxNotes we urge you to add your favourite pens or other (art)supplies to your case and you'll have everything you need to be present in the moment, dangling from your wrist.

We believe that we have an obligation as designers to contribute to a greener planet. So, we pride ourselves on our commitment to sustainability by recycling, reusing, and minimising waste at every stage. Combine this with a relentless passion for traditional craftsmanship and you'll get 'de Ambachtelijke Ontwerpers'. Each of our projects is meticulously designed with these eco-friendly practices in mind and we often advise our clients on sustainable materials and production.

Introducing DAOxNotes

This fall, we are thrilled to launch DAOxNotes, a line of handmade notebooks and accompanying cases that embody our values of quality and sustainability. Each notebook is a testament to slow production, made with locally sourced and recycled materials.

The notebook features a cover made from paper that we've scooped by hand. It's a velvety-soft material, reinforced with recycled textiles such as flags. They are screen-printed and hand bound with care.

For the cases we use recycled materials from cultural exhibitions, the same as our notebook reinforcement. Each case is a colourful and unique edition. Add your favourite sketching or writing materials to the case and strap it on your wrist to easily take it everywhere you want.

DAOxNotes is not just a notebook. It's your perfect companion, offering a serene space to collect your thoughts, inspirations and ideas.
