Current systems are not sustainable and we need a stronger foundation in society, in which new things are normal and we look after each other again. So we have to look for new connections, new ways of contact.
Intergenerational living
'The residential student'
The student can live for free so that the student debt does not have to accumulate, the older person benefits because young people bring the outside world into the their own world.
The power of slowing down
'Adelbold'
An ordinary home with a support structure nearby. Marginalized young people are accommodated in the warm, orderly and delayed world of the elderly. Young people develop, learn and contribute to society. It saves a lot of effort on professional care for young people. And the presence of the youth has a positive effect on the elderly.
Guiding those who get lost
"The neighborhood structure"
People who have Alzheimer's disease can get lost in their own lives. That is why we have set up a 'neighbourhood structure'. Neighborhood buddies are employees who have no care training, but who are trusted and close by as a 'good neighbour', who give the lost people structure and proximity in their own department.
