In this new collection, the lasering technique is applied on both sides, with a different design and color on each side. This creates surprising reliefs and you get a play with color and light. The technique had never been used in this way before.

Inspiration

The designs in wool felt are inspired by the painting 'Grisaille with three-master and flute ship' by Joris Haagen. The waves and the position of the masts are translated in an abstract way in these designs.

Special characteristics

The wool felt in the FELT Collection is applied in a double layer with a different pattern and color on each side. The special laser technique creates a structure in a semi-transparent pattern and has never been used in this way before. It is ideal for use as a partition panel or sound-absorbing wall cladding. Wool felt is fire-resistant, moisture-regulating. durable and it has fantastic acoustic properties. The designs of the patterns and the lasering of the double-layer textile felt are made in the Netherlands.
One of the designs has been used in the Kulisi room divider, a co-production of Frida van der Poel & Mariëtte Wolbert. This innovative screen is suitable both at home and in the work environment, for example in the office. The 'Kulisi' room divider is designed in such a way that it can be placed anywhere independently.
Of course, different combinations in felt structures, colors and wood type are possible for the folding screen on request.
