Living Colour presents the latest research findings on bacterial dyes. This natural dye made from bacterial pigments has no hazardous chemicals in the production process. It consumes less water and energy in the dyeing process, minimizing its negative effects on the environment.

Natural dyes made from bacteria

The new collection of various material tests show the wide applicability of bacteria dyes.
Both tactile and visual aspects are very important. The variety of textures and textiles - both natural and synthetic - produces different color tones. The surprising combination of materials within material research, such as hemp, peace silk and ripstop fabric, bring a variety of color tones. Bacteria colors provide a whole new refreshing aesthetic within fashion and textile design.
