(Archive) Le Petit Boudoir

A collaboration between the furniture label Lensvelt and the designer/artist Teun Zwets.

Teun Zwets creates ten objects for Lensvelt from Lensvelt's waste.
These objects are displayed in white sterile volumes. To enhance the contrast.
The installation can be visited in the Evoluon.

Le Petit Boudoir.

Le Petit Boudoir is reminiscent of jewellery, diamonds and gold.
The boudoir created by Lensvelt and Teun Zwets is waste.
The objects are presented in white sterile volumes. A contrast.
The objects are contemporary. The Evoluon is a spaceship from the fifties. A contrast.
Contrast makes clear.
Contrast makes more beautiful.
Contrast is food for discussion.


Teun Zwets operates at the intersection of art and design.
Teun is 29 years old.
Enfollowed his studies at the design Academy in Eindhoven.
His passion is the use of waste.
Teun Zwets is the three-dimensional Mondrian.
Who has the gift of composing waste in such a way that the overall picture is awesome.
Just like Mondrian.

Lensvelt is an award winning boutique furniture label.
Since 1962.
Lensvelt provides architects and interior architects with the products to make even better interiors.
Lensvelt does this by having these products designed by the most remarkable artists, product designers and architects.
Lensvelt loves to support young designers.
Lensvelt wants to contribute to the cultural community. National and international.
Lensvelt wants to discuss and push boundaries.
